Producers of Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child revealed portraits of the cast’s new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and other key players in the two-part wizarding world saga.
The new faces include James Snyder as Harry Potter, Diane Davis as Ginny Potter, and Nicholas Podany as their son Albus Potter; Matt Mueller as Ron Weasley, Jenny Jules as Hermione Granger, and Nadia Brown as their daughter, Rose Granger-Weasley; and Jonno Roberts as Draco Malfoy with Bubba Weiler as his son, Scorpius Malfoy. Cursed Child’s cast changeover means that the original core Broadway cast — including Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley, and Noma Dumezweni — are now officially hanging up their wands and wizarding robes.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child follows the adventures of Harry’s middle child, Albus, during his own years at Hogwarts. The show opened on Broadway last year and won six Tony Awards, including Best Play.
