Reba McEntire has a long relationship with the Academy of Country Music Awards. She’s both a multi-ACM Awards winner and has hosted the awards ceremony, both solo and with various co-hosts, more than a dozen times.
McEntire was first nominated at the ACM Awards in 1981, for Top New Female Vocalist; she lost to the category Terri Gibbs. Her first ACMs win came in 1985, for Top Female Vocalist, and she won the category for the next three years as well. Through the years McEntire has won 10 ACM Awards trophies, as well as six additional special awards.
